"The inspirtaiton for this painting came tome in a zoo with a very good imitation of the biome where these animals live. The raccoons I have seen in the wild were sometimes different, with less contrasted masks and longer hair. The animals I saw in this zoo were as I like them, they were active and curious and were trying to catch a butterfly." - Carl Brenders.
