"Large birds in flight have always been a source of inspiration for me. Their wings beat slowly and rhythmically, allowing me to record the movement  and the moment. In "Shrouded Forest", I wanted to invite the viewer into the painting, to walk the path into the wilderness, experience the fog-veiled forest and watch the magnificent bald ealge as he leaves his perch for the valley below." - Daniel Smith.
