"Cruising in the tall grasses of the Masai Mara of Kenya in June, just before the great migration, we spotted a small group of lions. Coming closer we saw on lying apart from the group; at first he seemed not to pay attention to us, but then we saw his eyes, looking intently at us through the grass.
