“Have you ever walked in on a perfectly ‘innocent’ card game?” asks artist Will Bullas. “It’s like catching deer in the headlights! Or “hare” in the headlights, as the case may be. Today it’s just a friendly game between a pair of jacks—or jack rabbits in this instance. Oh, and, the carrot juice helps make it a “healthy” game, too.” The Bullas studio has been abuzz with big changes as of late. A little “experiment” in acrylics and oils has exploded into a full-blown passion. Not only has the richness of the color in his work increased, but so has the size.
