"Exploring the new world rain forest was an incredible experience for me. The sights, sounds and aroma of the tropics remain forever etched in my memory. Emerald Forest - Jaguar is from a setting I experienced while canoeing the back waters of the Peruvian Amazon. The natural bridge festooned with bromeliads and vines seemed a likely perch for a jaguar. Beautiful and endangered, spotted jaguars are the more common color phase, although the darker, melanistic variety has spots that become visible in the filtered light of the rain forest." - Daniel Smith.
