Sometimes the image that catches the artists eye is a daytime scene with bright colors in the vehicles and buildings. Other times, as in Manhattan Traffic, it is a night scene with all the drama and color of city lights balanced by the negative space of the dark night sky. Either way, Lague's contemporary, vibrant "urban scapes" are exciting and exhilerating.
