"I love pelicans and we see them often while boating on theMississippi (River), especially on Lake Pepin. We like to go out in our little dinghy and explore the shallow, more secluded backwaters. We drifted up pretty close to this fellow last summer. I wonder if he knew an artist wanted to paint him?"
