Bill Anton paints the West and its revered icons, the cowboys, and is committed to preserving the beliefs and values that are part of their way of life.  As these three cowboys pause to rest their horses at the rocky edge of a panoramic canyon, veiled in soft shades of purples and blues, they take in their magnificent surroundings.  The wild and rugged landscape reveals a harsh environment, yet beautiful in its serenity, as the cowboys contemplate the rest of the long journey ahead of them.
